Call for Papers
The Polish Journal of Philosophy invites the submission of articles on any aspect of philosophy, provided that they are not of a primarily expository or historical character. The submission should not exceed 8000 words and should conform to the specific guidelines provided on the journal’s website (here). Authors are welcome to send the journal either electronic or printed copy of your paper, addressed to the Editorial Office (see contact details). Please make sure that all personal data or institutional affiliations are removed from the submitted version in order that we may send it on for a blind-review.
The journal aims to give authors a decision within twelve weeks. Once accepted, the paper is expected to appear within a calendar year. For further information please consult the journal’s website or write to the editor at editor@pjp.edu.pl.
Call for Reviewers
Finally, on a more personal note, I am the book review editor for the journal, and I am in need of book reviewers. Book reviews should be no longer than 2000 words, and they should critically examine the main argument(s) of the book. Several publishers have sent me gratis copies of recently published books (a list of recently received books will be published on this blog soon). So, I can arrange for the book to be sent to you.
If you would like to review a book, please email me at oohlah@mac.com with the subject line: PJP book review inquiry. Also, if you have read a book recently that was published within the last two years and you feel capable of writing a critical book review for the PJP (or have written a book review already), please email me. We will consider publishing it.
