Charlton Heston died yesterday evening in his home in Beverly Hills, CA. He was 84. You can read several obituaries in today’s newspapers (here, here, here) and the L.A. Times posted a nice photograph (here) on their webpage. Below the fold I include Heston’s memorable scene from Soylent Green.
